Description
These engineer quality, left hand spiral drill bits are made from M35 steel with 5% Cobalt for longer life.
They give a superior performance even when drilling challenging materials such as stainless steel and high alloy steel. With a precision ground tip, split point and 135° angle, these DIN 338 bits are very precise for centring during spot drilling. For tough or hard metal drilling such as high tensile and hardened steels, including stainless steel (Cr-Ni) and purpose made acid resistant metals.
Ideal for removing broken or damaged studs and fasteners. Drill a pilot hole in the dead centre of the fastener. Chose the correct left hand drill bit diameter for the task. Set the drill to reverse and a low speed.
